MVP development

From an idea on paper to a working product in customers' hands.

Most software ideas die in one of two ways: either they get trapped in six months of agency meetings and budget overruns, or they get hacked together on fragile no-code tools that collapse the moment real paying customers arrive. A true Minimum Viable Product isn’t a broken prototype—it is the sharpest, cleanest version of the core problem your software solves. I work directly with founders as a full-stack product engineer to define what truly matters, design an intuitive interface, build production-grade software, and guide you through launch in weeks, not quarters.

02 / Scope

What we can deliver

The final scope is agreed around your project.

01 / 08What we can deliver

Product thesis & reality check

Before touching an editor, we challenge your assumptions. Who is the exact person paying for this? What is the single most valuable action they must take? We crystallize the core value proposition so you don't build features nobody wants.

02 / 08What we can deliver

Ruthless scope trimming

Every founder has twenty ideas. We separate the two or three non-negotiables required to take payment and deliver value from the 'nice-to-haves' that can wait for version two. This keeps your launch fast and your budget intact.

03 / 08What we can deliver

High-conversion UX/UI design

First impressions make or break early adoption. I design screens that look established, trustworthy, and clear from the first click—onboarding flows, core dashboards, and checkout journeys that turn visitors into active users.

04 / 08What we can deliver

Production-grade architecture

No disposable toy code. We build on industry-standard foundations (TypeScript, Next.js, and rock-solid databases). When your product gains traction, you build on top of this foundation rather than throwing it away and rebuilding.

05 / 08What we can deliver

Core feature engineering

The heart of your application: user workspaces, custom calculation engines, data dashboards, or search directories built with rigorous attention to speed, data integrity, and error handling.

06 / 08What we can deliver

Monetization & launch essentials

A product isn't real until it can take money. We integrate Stripe checkout or subscription billing, user authentication, automated welcome emails, and analytics so you can track signups and measure revenue from day one.

07 / 08What we can deliver

Production deployment & analytics

We configure scalable cloud hosting, domain DNS, SSL certificates, and conversion tracking. Your product goes live to the world on a production setup that can handle traffic spikes without breaking a sweat.

08 / 08What we can deliver

Handover & 60-day stabilization

You own 100% of the code, domain, and infrastructure accounts. Every MVP includes 60 days of post-launch bug fixing and support, giving you total peace of mind as your first real users onboard.

Choosing the right tools

For an MVP, the tech stack must balance speed to market with long-term durability. I build using proven, modern foundations: Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend and server, backed by PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and deployed on serverless cloud platforms that cost almost nothing while traffic is small, but scale effortlessly as you grow. Rather than reinventing standard infrastructure, we plug in battle-tested services for commoditized needs: Stripe for billing, Resend for transactional email, and managed authentication for logins. Every custom hour is spent engineering what makes your product unique and defensible.

05 / FAQ

Questions you may have

How long does it take to go from an initial conversation to a live MVP?

A focused MVP typically takes between 2 and 8 weeks. Because we agree on a tightly scoped feature set and you communicate directly with the engineer building it, decisions happen in hours rather than weeks. Smaller specialized tools can launch even faster, while complex multi-role platforms may take slightly longer.

I don't have technical specifications or wireframes. Can we still start?

Yes. That is precisely what the first phase is designed for. You bring your industry expertise and understanding of your customer's problem. Together, we translate that into user flows, screen wireframes, and technical architecture. You don’t need to know how databases work to build great software.

Will this first version have to be thrown away when we want to add more features?

No, and that is the critical difference between a throwaway prototype and a properly engineered MVP. Because I write clean, modular TypeScript with standard database schemas, your codebase is a permanent asset. When you're ready for version two, we build directly on top of the existing foundation.

What happens after the product launches? What if bugs appear?

Every MVP engagement includes 60 days of post-launch stabilization. I don't hand you code and disappear. During your first two months of live usage, I monitor error logs, address unexpected edge cases, and ensure real customer feedback is smoothed out quickly so your early users have a seamless experience.

Can I hand the codebase over to an internal team or future hire later on?

Yes, 100%. You own all intellectual property, repositories, and cloud accounts. The software is built using clean, idiomatic conventions that any competent developer can pick up immediately. When you’re ready to hire in-house, I provide comprehensive documentation and conduct technical onboarding walkthroughs with your new team.

Working together

How much will the project cost?

Every engagement is quoted individually, based on its scope, complexity, and delivery needs. We agree on the work and its cost before development begins.

Who owns the software?

For bespoke projects, you own the custom code, with client-controlled repositories and infrastructure, documentation, and a complete handover. Third-party components and services retain their own licenses and terms. When an existing product fits your needs, I can help you adopt and configure it, avoiding unnecessary development. You receive access under that product's agreed terms; its underlying platform remains with its owner.

What if the scope changes?

We review the requested change, its priorities, and its effect on cost and timing before adding it to the delivery. Later ideas can also become a separate phase.
